All Natural Brown Sugar/Salt Body Scrub

Who of us doesn't like a Good Body Scrub - but doesn't want it to contain any chemical made fragrances, parabens and SLS's  or any other such gunk and then have to pay through the nose for it.

Me for one. Living in Wales, Great Britain, my skin was soft and I didn't need the use of moisturizers every day.. But moving & Living in Utah...my skin went all crazy on me.... Feeling more like dry, rough crocodile skin, than soft, smooth human skin. I would try and use as many different varieties of body lotions etc., and finding them merely okay or they had TOO many chemical elements added. And having a baby girl who's skin didn't even tolerate Burts Bee Baby products, I went back to the drawing board -or more like the kitchen to make my own.

After making my own homemade Shea Butter Body Butter, which we fell in love with & still use to this day, I got to thinking about making a good body scrub. I knew that Coconut Oil, Almond Oil & Essential Oils are wonderful, all natural goodness. I concocted an easy Body Scrub that literally takes 30 minutes to make!

Now how easy is that.

This is what you'll need to make your own
All Natural Brown Sugar/Salt Body Scrub

3 Cups of Epsom Salts
3 1/2 cups of Brown Sugar
( I like Sugar in the Raw as the size is not too big)
3 Cups of Coconut Oil
Essential Oils.
(I used roughly about 8-9 drops of each)

You can experiment on which & how much Essential Oils to use for yourself  & test first to make sure your skin can handle them.

Measure your Oil's into a Microwavable jug, Then pop the jug into the Microwave & set it for 2 minutes.
Check it to make sure the Oil's have completely melted.

Add your Brwon Sugar & Salts.

Give it a good stir and add the Essential Oils in and stir again.... And be prepared for your nose to have a wonderful blast of sweet and fresh aroma.

Spoon your Body Scrub into your jars.
( I use a dried Eucalyptus Leaf in mine.. it adds a nice touch as well as adding more oils, when it started to absorb the oils which is already in the scrub)

This amount makes quite a large batch, you can use for yourself, or dress them up with some simple Burlap & twine, add a spoon
 And give as gifts.

Hey Christmas is coming..... These will make fabulous gifts.

This is how much this batch makes.

This is what I use in my shower. A large heavy duty Plastic Ziploc Container. With a piece of twine tie around it and tied a spoon into it for easy scooping out purposes. I shower, and scrub it all over, even my face, exfoliating all that dead skin off.... The wonderful aroma that circulates around you and fills the bathroom. I rub it on my legs wash it off then I shave my legs, using the oils as my 'shaving gel'.

Your legs will feel and smell like a million dollars!

Finish off after you have dried with some homemade Shea Butter Body Butter

Go on...Give it a go.. Make some for yourself & be  sweetly amazed!
