Looking out from our apartment window, the sun shone brightly, rays of sunshine danced across the gnarly leafless branches of the strong oak trees.
Yet, stepping outside felt a lot different!
The wind chill added to the cold, making it bitterly cold, to where you button every single button on your coat or zip the zipper all the way up. Pull your hood further down and grab your gloves.
Yet driving in our car.... Urging the heater to heat quickly, the girls, upset that it was cold in the car, even though they were all bundled up with their coats, hats, gloves and blankets over them. Then as I pulled over to quickly snap a picture from Raymers Cove...Seren spotted a squirrel scurrying across the ground, she squealed in delight.
Even in winter.. The views around Lake Mendota are still amazing.
Don't you just love the wonder and beauty of Nature.
