James Arthur - Bitter Sweet Love 2024 World Tour

Can you ever get fed up of going to concerts?

Heck NO! 😃 and last night, Monday, May 13th for my mothers day gift, I took my daughters, Seren & Carys, along with Jason to see James Arthur in concert. It was Seren & Carys first ever concert!

James' opening act was Forest Blakk! And if you don't know him - he's amazing.

I didn't video 3 of the songs - as I've got those form last time I saw James Arthur in concert. The set list -

Bittersweet Love, Blindside, Empty Space, Can I Be Him, Come Back Kid, Sermon, Rewrite the Stars, Naked, Train Wreck, Thousand Years, Car's Outside, Impossible, Say You Won't Let Go.

Forest Blakk

I love it when you go to a concert and end up knowing the singer who is the supporting act!

That's what it was like last night at the James Arthur - Bitter Sweet Love 2024 World Tour.

Forest Blakk was James' supporting act! And Forest was amazing!

As per usual the videos I took were too long!

Also at the end of Forest's set, he gave my daughter Carys one of his guitar picks! It made her day.

WHAT AN AMAZING CONCERT IT WAS TOO. FOR MY MOTHER'S DAY GIFT I HAD 2 VIP TICKETS TO THE SHOW. plus, we got a hat, guitar picks, badges as part of the VIP goodie bag

and...I bought, a hoodie, shirt, bag and t-shirt :)

I WAS SUPER STOKED TO GO AND HAVE WAITED SINCE 2020 WHEN I HAD TICKETS FOR THAT MAY *FOR MOTHERS DAY TOO. BUT YOU ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED - COVID.

SO, GETTING TO GO WAS AT THE TOP OF MY LIST LOL AND SO WELL WORTH IT, EVEN PAYING EXTRA FOR THE VIP.

WE GOT TO GO IN EARLY FOR THE MEET AND GREET WHICH INCLUDED TWO SONGS FOR THE SOUNDCHECK AND Q&A WITH JAMES. ONLY WISHED I COULD HAVE GIVEN HIM A HUG AND LOOKED INTO HIS BLUE EYES* SWOON LOL AS WE WERE SO CLOSE. WE CAN ALL WISH, RIGHT :)

NOT SURE ABOUT ALL OF YOU LOT OUT THERE, BUT I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING JAMES SINCE HIS DEBUT ON THE X-FACTOR IN 2012 IN THE UK AND HE WON! AND IF BY CHANCE YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF HIM....WELL...IT'S TIME YOU DID LOL

Time.

Where has it gone?

It's been 6 months since we moved from Utah to Maryland! How'd that happen? Because rooms needed updating, walls needed painting or wallpapering with my new fav thing - Peel and Stick Wallpaper. I've redone the pantry, laundry/mudroom, some walls on the main floor, and half bath on the main floor.

*We did have the main floors and girls room's painted before moving in.

The walls in the kitchen will be done once we get the kitchen remodeled* which, may I add is taking way longer than we'd anticipated :/ We need to make a decision by the 24th of May! Which also means calling our bank. Kitchen remodels are so NOT cheap :( and it won't be completed until Nov 21st! Day after my birthday. At least it'll be done before Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's day, and Easter have come and gone and here we are creeping towards the end of May. Eek! Summer is nearly here, which means holiday time and Jason wants us to do something fun this year. We are looking into Disney Worlds for 2 days and then stay at Aunt Natalie's home and visit some warm beaches. That also needs to be sorted and booked ASAP.

The girls have adjusted well to Maryland life. Jason's job keeps him ever-so busy and myself... Well, I'm making friends and I have new callings in our church is keeping me busy as well as updating the home, massive yard, and working on completing my second book in a series. * I have finished a stand-alone book :)

Also, a trip back to Utah in April for Ashton's wedding :) That was a most wonderful day. Daughter #4.

Last night, Jason and I went to see James Arthur in concert at The Fillmore in Silver Spring. And what an amazing show that was. I'll do a separate post on that.
