Tom Hiddleston - He Can Cure Depression!

Whilst browsing Pinterest, my sister Kaye had pinned a post with a picture of Tom Hiddleston on it.
Now if you for some odd reason are not on part of this amazing time sucking fab site that is Pinterest, then you'd best get going and start pinning!

This pinned post made me smile, swoon, giggle and really jiggle tummy laugh!
It might be Tom's soul searching blue eyes
 That melt your heart

Or his smoldering stare!

Or his infectious smile.

BUT

I can rave till I'm  blue in the face, but it's best you let your eyes gander over the hunk that's named, Tom Hiddleston

Thanks to all the ladies over at BuzzFeed.com for  making such a great, easy on the eyes fun post!

And if that's not enough

Check out Tom's upcoming movie Due out this year
Crimson Peak.

And don't forget to

Whole Foods = Empty Purse!

Today I received a text message from my good friend Jessica. Her words were, "I laughed so hard, got to love Whole Foods."

So, I clicked on the link and began to read.

I too laughed so hard at this article. How many of us know exactly what this lady Kelly Maclean writes about on a trip to her Huge Whole Foods Store.

Click HERE to read the article.

I too have nearly choked back my words of HOW MUCH!! When I see the total of three items!
 And that's just the bread.

I must say this though, I do like shopping at Whole Foods even on a student budget :/
I wish that one day I could do a big shop there, but I know that would probably bomb our checking account to a big fat ZERO!! Lol

But, remember this, watch out for us ladies with toddlers in tow crossing the parking lot, when you are in 'looking for an empty parking spot frenzy! :)

Kevin Bacon on Jimmy Fallon

Well, what can I say, other than I love
The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Show and when he announced that Kevin Bacon was his first guest and how good Kevin's new show The Following (just finished it's 2nd season)  then he announced there's a 'BAN' on Dancing on the Show. I laughed... And what Treat, as Kevin rarely does this, if ever..
To watch a lean, but an older, yet still handsome
Kevin Bacon, strut his stuff and break into his role as
Ren McCormack
 From
Footloose.....

I watched this movie SO many times with my best friend Lisa... We knew all the dance moves and pretty much all of the dialogue... And if you lived through the 80's you're gonna love this

ENJOY

Birthdays & Being Thankful

Do you love your birthday or feel like it's just another day?

Well My birthday was yesterday ---Woooohoo...yes,
Not really. I feel at now at the ripe age of 43...UGH ( although I still have no gray hairs- that I can say yippee to)

Having many, many sleepless nights of late, bless my little tinkers, Seren & Carys are ill at the same time

Lets say having slept on the sofa with Carys again, as she had a temperature and coughing all night long, I wasn't in the best of moods waking up, plus it being 'that time of month' when we ladies, transform from being harmonious - to something we don't recognize lol, so, I found it hard to enjoy 'My Birthday.'

Is it just another day?
Do we expect a huge birthday surprise?
Do we expect anything at all?
Do we expect Chocolate, even if you say you didn't want any - OH HECK YES on THAT ONE!

As I get older, I feel like it's just another day, but deep inside I want to be whisked away on a fabulous birthday surprise (which for my sister-in-law's 30th b-day she went away for a couple days with friends - than her hubby met her at the airport, then took her to NEW YORK !!)

Now that's what I call a birthday. Not that we expect that every year - now that would be silly.
But sometimes, we ladies, just want a somewhat not perfect birthday, but one in which we didn't have to drop hints of what we want, or feeling like like UGH PUG  all day!

I know with my girls being sick, there wasn't much we could do. Jason, did come home early from college, wrapped the girls up and went out to let the girls choose a birthday cake. Asked what I wanted for dinner, my reply was to just get frozen pizza. I honestly didn't want to bother. A shame I know.

What did I get - well a couple of weeks ago, I did buy myself a pair of boots on sale from Target.
My dad, is sending 50 British pounds to me ( bless him , I miss him so much)
I did have a beautiful bouquet of flowers and balloons from my father-in-law, Randy & mother-in-law, Charliss.
A bunch of flowers, and a small bag of chocolates ( which the girls devoured) from a friend at my church.
A lovely Skype call with my sister, which she made me laugh :)
Call from my Son & Daughter in Utah.
Email from my daughter in Wales.
Message from my bro-in-law Mark ( who also shares the same birthday as me)
Email from a friend, June at church
Text from my friend Jessica at church.
(Thank you for remembering)

I must say, I was determined to 'Not' enjoy my birthday. I most definitely had the wrong frame of mind. Even I forget birthdays sometimes, and I feel terrible, because no-one wants to be forgotten on their special day, their Birthday.

But what I must say, is that I am THANKFUL to my hubby, Jason for taking the girls for that hour, washing the dishes after dinner. My darling Seren, who chose the extremely bright pink frosted birthday cake, and the matching neon candles and singing with a smiling face - Happy Birthday and insisting I sing along too!! LOL..
And Jason, not giving up on me & eventually cracking my stubborn shell and making me laugh!!

Laughter is the best medicine - that is what I needed last night.

So to finish, I just wanted to give thanks for my loved ones who, stick with me and make me laugh, give hugs when I need them.
And  a hubby who loves me, and who bought me a much needed winter North face coat for the really cold winters here.

Birthdays we should remember our mothers, who spent many hours, pushing and being completely worn out after giving birth to us. That wonderful moment when they held me/you in their arms for the very first time. This is something we should maybe remember about our birthdays, I know I will from now on. Thank you mam & dad for bringing me into your family, mam for the hard labor you endured, and I do and did miss you singing, Happy Birthday to me on my special day. ( I miss you mom- I pray you were signing up in Heaven)

THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU.
I LOVE YOU ALL.

So to those who share a birthday the same days as me
November 20th

Happy Belated Birthday

Here are some people who share the same birthday as me.

24 Clear Signs You're a Mother

I came across this post
And I  laughed hard, when I read it.

It's from Huffington Post
Why did I laugh, because other than #5 all the other signs...is what I have experienced and still do, as I have two little girls aged 3 and 1...

Take a five and read
For us mothers, this is a 2 min LAUGH to get you through your day

Co-authored by Mark Simmons, co-founder WeMothers llc
We asked the moms of www.wemothers.com what it means to be a mom. Here is what they told us. You know you are a mom when:
1. Instead of running from projectile vomit, you run towards it.
2. You do more in seven minutes than most people do all day.
3. Happy hour has become the 60 minutes between your kids going to bed and you going to bed.
4. A night of drinking requires more recovery time than minor surgery.
5. A glass of wine counts as a serving of fruit.
6. You have mini-therapy sessions all day long with anyone who will listen.
7. Going to the grocery store by yourself is a vacation.
8. You can experience heaven and hell at the same time.
9. You think of physical pain on three levels: pain, excruciating pain and stepping on a Lego.
10. You have the ability to hear a sneeze through closed doors in the middle of the night, two bedrooms away, while your SO snores next to you.
11. You'd rather have a 103 degree fever than watch one of your kids suffer with it.
12. You'd rather go to sleep than have sex.
13. A 15-minute shower with the door locked feels like a day at the spa.
14. Peeing with an audience is part of the daily routine.
15. You use baby wipes to clean up random spills and the dash of your car.
16. You lock yourself in the bathroom and pretend to have diarrhea just to get a break.
17. You love Moms' Night Out and Date Night with the Hubs.
18. You have a secret chocolate stash because frankly, you're sick of sharing.
19. You've been washing the same load of laundry for three days because you forgot to dry it.
20. You realize you've been watching Nick Jr. alone, even though your kids have been in bed for over 30 minutes.
21. You can cook dinner, breastfeed, talk on the phone and yell at the kids, all without breaking stride or missing any of the TV show you are watching.
22. You get more excited about the Mini Boden Catalogue than J Crew's.
23. You decide to stick with your car for the next decade because a) you can't afford to switch and b) you haven't found a car wash that knows how to get all the milk stains and glitter removed.
24. By the end of the day, brushing your teeth feels like a huge accomplishment.
