Cian Ducrot - The Atlantis, DC Concert 2023

When you get the opportunity to go see an up-and-coming artist in concert - what do you do? You book the tickets right then and there LOL
And that's what I did for Cian Ducrot as tickets were a steal! $28 each. Mind you, I did kinda make up for the low cost of the tickets when I bought Cian's merch for sale lol

The Atlantis was the host for Cian's concert and last night, Wednesday, Oct 11th was when we got to see Cian in the flesh and hear his awesome Irish singing voice, not to mention his keen FLUTE playing skills! What a treat that was!

I won't post every video of each song Cian sang - So here's visit my YouTube channel to view them all

But here's my fav song he sang, not that they all aren't fab.

Richard Marx, Songwriter Concert - Union Stage, DC 2022

RICHARD MARX

What can you say, when you get to relive your 80's era all over again and go see one of your favorite artists in concert! That was me.

I asked my friend Tina to come with me and we had the best time.

We ate at Founding Farmers restaurant which was Amazing, to say the least! Then popped over to Tyson's Corner Mall Before heading to Union Stage to see the legendary Richard Marx In Concert. I did get the premium tickets which meant any seat in the first 7 rows. We sat in the 3rd row! Woot Woot.

You can watch all the videos of that night on my YouTube channel

I splurged and got the VIP meet and greet when we got to the concert! Richard and I chatted about Wales and how he is looking forward to going to Cardiff in concert and doing something for the BBC.

I must say, Richard was outstanding! He was funny and his voice like fine wine. Better with age.

Time.

 Where has it gone?

It's been 6 months since we moved from Utah to Maryland! How'd that happen? Because rooms needed updating, walls needed painting or wallpapering with my new fav thing - Peel and Stick Wallpaper. I've redone the pantry, laundry/mudroom, some walls on the main floor, and half bath on the main floor.

*We did have the main floors and girls room's painted before moving in.

The walls in the kitchen will be done once we get the kitchen remodeled* which, may I add is taking way longer than we'd anticipated :/ We need to make a decision by the 24th of May! Which also means calling our bank. Kitchen remodels are so NOT cheap :( and it won't be completed until Nov 21st! Day after my birthday. At least it'll be done before Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's day, and Easter have come and gone and here we are creeping towards the end of May. Eek! Summer is nearly here, which means holiday time and Jason wants us to do something fun this year. We are looking into Disney Worlds for 2 days and then stay at Aunt Natalie's home and visit some warm beaches. That also needs to be sorted and booked ASAP.

The girls have adjusted well to Maryland life. Jason's job keeps him ever-so busy and myself... Well, I'm making friends and I have new callings in our church is keeping me busy as well as updating the home, massive yard, and working on completing my second book in a series. * I have finished a stand-alone book :)

Also, a trip back to Utah in April for Ashton's wedding :) That was a most wonderful day. Daughter #4.

Last night, Jason and I went to see James Arthur in concert at The Fillmore in Silver Spring. And what an amazing show that was. I'll do a separate post on that.

Below are some pictures for your catch up :)

Lady A

                              Lady A

I finally got to go see my favorite country/pop band in concert! Lady A💗💗

I have to say, it was a blast and Jason came with me and as it was outdoors at the Usana we didn't have to wear a mask!

I did indulge a tiny bit and bought myself three t-shirts lol

What can I say other than, I sang my heart out and loved every minute from start to finish. Even the supporting acts were great too!

Tenille Arts

Niko Moon

Carly Pearce

But I went for, the main event, Lady A - the way Hilary, Charles and Dave all harmonized was goosebump worthy!

Here are some pictures and videos - Enjoy. I have way too many videos to upload lol so you're only getting a few. 😆
