Another Year Older.

When does having a birthday become a dread?
When you know your getting older and the excitement one has as a child the night before and when you wake up on your birthday expires when you pass age 30.

The years creep up on you and before you know it,  your not looking forward to the special day.
If your like me, you even conjure up amazing gifts you only dream of. And you find yourself having to give a list of what you would like.

Sometimes that list you gave gets some gifts checked off, other times no.

This year, with  money tight as we are saving every spare penny for our down payment for our new home. So, gifts from hubby are on the sparse side. But I did get plenty of gifts actually.

I did get some great Dvd sets:
Blade 4 movie set - from my hubby
Lethal Weapon 4 movie set - from my daughter Jade
The Mummy Trilogy - From money I got from my mother in law
A gift card from brother in law which I purchased two writing books and the Dvd movie,
Also from my daughter Jade I got a great gift. Knowing how much I like the Actor
Tom Hiddleston she got me a journal with  quotes by Tom inside! Sweet gift I must say :)

Then my hubby and kids went our for dinner to
Red Robin restaurant

Then we came home and enjoyed cheesecake for my dessert and watched the first installment of Back to The Future - which the girls loved.

Crimson Peak

This last Friday, my daughter Jade and I went to see the new
movie

If you love Gothic romance then you'll enjoy this, but we warned it has ghosts in it. Not quite the Casper the friendly ghost type, but some scary ones.

The set design which was bewitching to say the least and costumes were made with such fine detail and if like me your an artist and love all things creative, this movie is a must!

While recently watching or should I say swooning over Tom Hiddleston in an interview with Huffington Post in which it the question was asked about the set of the house and if it was still standing. It is not, it has been taken down! Shame I'd pay to walk around that set for sure - especially if I had Tom Hiddleston on my arm! :)

I will say though I look forward to Tom's new movie in which he plays the role of Hank Williams.

I did a blogpost a while back that Tom Hiddleston can cure depression, click HERE
I'm sure you'll agree with me.
Tom Hiddleston
can most certainly put a smile on your face when you watch him do his snake his hips. Tom is an all rounder he acts, does incredible voices of other people even Kermit the frog! He makes you side for him when he plays the mischievous Loki, or simply makes you fall in love with that smile and those blue eyes and now he sings too!

Tom Hiddleston - He Can Cure Depression!

Whilst browsing Pinterest, my sister Kaye had pinned a post with a picture of Tom Hiddleston on it.
Now if you for some odd reason are not on part of this amazing time sucking fab site that is Pinterest, then you'd best get going and start pinning!

This pinned post made me smile, swoon, giggle and really jiggle tummy laugh!
It might be Tom's soul searching blue eyes
 That melt your heart

Or his smoldering stare!

Or his infectious smile.

BUT

I can rave till I'm  blue in the face, but it's best you let your eyes gander over the hunk that's named, Tom Hiddleston

Thanks to all the ladies over at BuzzFeed.com for  making such a great, easy on the eyes fun post!

And if that's not enough

Thor : The Dark World

Well, Jason and I finally went to see, 'Thor : The Dark World', last night and my goodness what can I say other than,

I Loved it.'t give in and see any, previews of the movies either, so each scene was new, and for once during a movie, I didn't worry about my little girls at home with the babysitter. That's how much it held my attention.

Now don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the 1st Thor movie, even if it was a bit cheesy, but after watching the 2nd Thor movie, it bay far beats the first.

Not only has is quite the cast, quite a few British Actors too.  I loved Anthony Hopkins voice, I can hear hints of his Welsh accent creeping out, which gives me lovely memories of home ( He's Welsh - I'm Welsh).
Rene Russo has a quick, but good fight scene - way to go Frigga!!

Chris Hemsworth has grown into his character; Thor. Also, there's the minus, that's over the top huge shoulder cape he wore in the first movie ( this new movie the over the top width of shoulder cape is scaled down) and with his long flowing richer color locks, his bright blue eyes and dreamy, Australian accent, plus a shirtless scene - oh my !! Lol, Chris Hemsworth gave a pretty good all round performance.
I love the brotherly contention with Loki still rings true in this movie, yet they both have some choice one liners!

But what made the movie for me, and held my attention every time he was on screen, was Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston. Even though his scenes weren't huge, it didn't matter. Every second he is on screen - he steals it, from Thor/Chris Hemsworth. The details of  the Goldish Celtic detail of the prison cell, which Loki is held in is beautiful. The performance of Loki is superb, he has wonderful one liners, a wickedly dashing  mischievous smirk yet a heart tugging moment in his cell, when he hears the news of Frigga, his stepmother. He owns every scene he is in, and what more can we ask from  'The God of Mischief'  -  I just wished he had more screen time.

All round A Great Movie, well worth seeing on the big screen.
Go check it out.
